Honestly nothing to complain about. Characterful base for a 1-night stay. Convenient and unbeatable location, walking distance to everywhere. Nearby Gettin' Basted - great place to chill out. The rooms with 2 beds. Paid US$ 50. The staff were very friendly and amicable and assisted us with free parking.

We travel extensively and normally stay with The Big Name chains. In early July, we happened to drive through Charles City and discovered the Hometown Inn. It was clean, had everything in our room we might need and had CHARACTER!!! Loved it!!!
